Frequent Questions and Answers
Kiteboarding and Kitesurfing are the same thing, just different boards on your feet!
When Kiteboarding you use a a board similar to a wakeboard, they come with bindings and fins (you can go bare foot or wear boots).
When Kitesurfing you use a strapless board just like a real surfboard with fins.
Either way, it’s a surface water sport, combining many aspects of other sports like wakeboarding, surfing, windsurfing, paragliding, snowboarding, skateboarding and gymnastics. The rider uses a large controllable power kite attached to a body harness, the wind powers the kiter across the water similar to a sail on a boat.
