Inigo has a contagious love of kitesurfing, and it necessarily manifests itself in his teaching style and approach to his students. Diligent and clear over matters of safety and technique, but at the same time a fun guy who seems genuinely interested in sharing his love of the sport. I unfortunately had to leave Tulum a day early, but Inigo was more than understanding, and worked within those restraints to provide the best learning environment possible. Honestly, had a blast. As a complete beginner, I wanted to go to a kite school that would be efficient and allow me to get certified as an independent rider. My lessons with Iñigo were both super fun and informational. He is phenomenal teacher and explains the importance of each section of the kite lesson. All the lessons I had were routed in developing good habits and having enough experience to feel the kite. I was able to progress quickly and look forward to continuing to learn while in New York and back in Mexico. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to kite in Tulum.

The instructors at Pro.Kite México are world class. I mainly worked with Iñigo and I couldn't be happier. His knowledge and mastering of the kitesurf fundamentals is like no one I have encountered before. I had taken a couple of kitesurfing lessons in the USA and I progressed significantly more with Iñigo in one kitesurf class than I had with all my previous classes combined. Iñigo breaks down every aspect of kite and board control in a digestable manner. He analyzed my gaps and gave me direct and actionable feedback to correct my mistakes. I spent 2 full days with Cedric and Iñigo and their team. My riding improved more in those two days than it has the past 5 years! I used their kit which is all brand new and top-grade kites (Core) , boards (Nobile) etc. They have walkie talkies to help with radio communications and the overall experience was fun whilst still being progressive enough to push me to learn quickly! Overall 10/10 - I’ll definitely be back on my next Mexico trip!

I decided to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with kitesurfing clases as we want to try it for 3 years. I contact ProKite and book a class with them. The process was easy, clear and Iñigo answer all my questions quickly. We book the 12 hours class as we want to be independent in the future and i highly recommend it as you need a good understanding and also need to practice. Iñigo is an amazing teacher... his explanation is clear and go to each detail to make you a responsible and good kite surfer... also he have a lot of patience. We really enjoy our kitesurf experience with ProKite, everything was there: good service, good teaching and the gear is new and clean. If you need to book a school... ProKite is definitely the right spot to go!

Inigo is one of the best instructors out there. I was able to progress and feel comfortable with kiting because of his attention to detail and emphasis on safety. Everything was structured in a step-wise approach with safety being the most important foundation. Eventually, we focused on kite control, body dragging, and progressed to water starts. He was able to recognize areas that I needed to spend more time perfecting, and was able to progress me forward to the next skill when he noticed I was comfortable. I highly recommend one-on-one kitesurf sessions with ProKite and Inigo. You will not be disappointed!

I’m an independent wave kiter from Oregon Coast USA traveling around the Yucatán with my non-kiting partner for 18 days with a rental car. I didn’t want to haul gear from Oregon so I figured I would try to find kiteboarding gear when I arrived in Tulum. I literally only had one day to kite. Miraculously it was windy. I contacted Prokite via WhatsApp the night before and Inigo responded promptly. He returned a WhatsApp message at 10pm! Long story short...I caught some warm windy waves on the outside reef, because Inigo went out of his way to coordinate my last minute kiteboarding request. **Note to kiters with no gear.....don’t be like me and wait till the last minute! Contact these guys as early as you can and they’ll deliver the goods for sure. We thankfully found a surfboard that I could ride last minute from a neighbor kite school....Old and heavier than a sofa but beggars can’t be choosey! Thanks again Inigo...I’ll remember that warm water session for a long time

These gentlemen know what they're doing. Our group had private kitesurf clases with Iñigo and Matias down in the Hotel Zone to establish the basics of reading the wind and controlling the kite. Then, we drove up to Isla Blanca with Iñigo, Matias, Tim, and Cedric over the weekend for a solid and rewarding day of kiting. From the outset, we felt like our instructors had a perfect handle on what was going on. Methodical, professional, and safety-conscious, they made sure we advanced as quickly as possible, and that we did it right--from setting up the kites, to putting them in the air, to getting us ready to put boards on. The ProKite team is extremely personable, too. You can tell they love what they do, and they take pains to make sure you feel totally comfortable. Across ~40 hours of combined lessons among our group, I heard nothing but great things. It was also a personal triumph for me to stand up on the board by the end of hour 4 of instruction. What a thrill!
